Clubhouse & Facilities

Upon entering the clubhouse, a quick and systematic check-in process is conducted under the guidance of friendly staff. Ancillary facilities such as the lobby and locker rooms are impeccably maintained overall, providing visitors with a comfortable resting space. Even when using the locker room to prepare for the round, you can calmly get ready without any inconvenience.

After completing all check-ins and preparations, waiting for the tee-off is always an exciting moment. Even in early winter weather, it raises expectations for meticulous course maintenance, such as green speeds reaching 2.8 m/s 1. Within the well-organized environment, you will be fully prepared to head out to the Alps and Mont Blanc courses with your companions 1.

On the Course

New Springville Golf Club in Sangju consists of the Alps and Mont Blanc courses, designed with an 18-hole, par-72 layout. The entire course features moderate elevation changes and wide fairways, offering visually stunning views. Especially as mentioned by YouTuber Son Sae-yeon when challenging the white tees, you can appreciate the scenery blending with nature throughout the course. Such landscaping relieves boredom during the round and provides motivation for the next hole.

Green conditions are evaluated as quite fast regardless of the season. Despite early winter weather, the green speed was measured at 2.8 m/s, requiring precise putting control. This means the ball cannot be rolled with sheer force alone, and strategic second-shot play around the greens is a key factor in determining the outcome. Pin position analysis and precise distance control considering the fast green speed are essential.

Course strategy should focus on stable rounding through accurate shots rather than aggressive play. Just as there are cases of recording good scores through strategic approaches even in the winter season or early winter weather, the ability to read course condition changes according to weather variations is crucial. Wide fairways leave room for error, but fast greens heavily penalize even small mistakes. Therefore, maintaining shot accuracy and putting concentration simultaneously is the key.

After the Round

Once the round is completed, time continues to deepen the bonds with acquaintances. The experience of playing the round while completing missions together transcends a simple golf game and remains a special memory. A round with good companions is always enjoyable, and natural communication makes it possible to record good scores. This social interaction provides another charm of golf.

Special anniversaries like Christmas or winter season rounds create even more meaningful moments. A round with acquaintances from the practice range transcends routine practice and elevates into a special event. New Springville Golf Club functions as a venue for such gatherings, delivering positive emotional experiences to participants. The changing seasons and the atmosphere of special days blend together to enhance the quality of the round.

Finally, this golf club holds value as a travel destination beyond a mere sports facility. The course design, harmonizing with the natural environment of Sangju, offers visitors a unique experience. During the relaxing time after the round, reflecting once again on the course views instills anticipation for the next visit. This comprehensive satisfaction is the reason why golfers continually love visiting New Springville.
