FairwayScore ("we", "us") is a website that helps visitors to Korea discover golf courses and travel packages. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information: if you create an account, your email address and password. If you sign in with Google, Kakao, or LINE, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider.

Content you provide: reviews, ratings, photos you upload, and the name, email address, and message you enter in an inquiry form.

Automatic information: basic log and device data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) and cookies, as described below.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (provided by our authentication service, Supabase).

If advertising is enabled on the site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. 3. How we use your information

To operate the site, authenticate you, publish the reviews and ratings you submit, respond to your inquiries, keep the service secure, understand how the site is used, and, where enabled, display advertising.

4. Service providers and third parties

We rely on: Supabase (authentication, database, and image storage), Vercel (website hosting), Google (Maps embeds, Google Sign-In, and advertising), and Kakao and LINE (their respective sign-in services).

Course write-ups on this site are compiled from publicly available YouTube videos and Naver blog posts; we link to the original sources. Opinions in those sources belong to their authors.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists, and content you post for as long as it remains published. We delete or anonymize your information after your account is closed, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@fairwayscore.com. You can edit or delete reviews you have posted while signed in. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

7. International users

Our database and image storage are hosted in South Korea (Seoul region). Website hosting and other providers may process data in other countries. By using the site you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.

8. Children

The site is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
